As I prepare for the re-release of my
product Judo Success Secrets, I am doing
more and more analyzing of the sport. Reading
more, studying more and really seeing the
sport from a different view than I did
as a player and personal coach.
Because I’ve now been the Head Coach of
a country program I look at Judo as a
product, the participants as users of the
product and myself as the VP of Marketing
and Sales and the President of the Federation
as the CEO.
I understood that everything that my players
did was a marketing opportunity for the sport
to expand and grow and winning was ONLY one
way the we actually “WON”.
And we had to clearly define winning by a
different set of standards based upon what
we were trying to accomplish on several fronts.
In the end we got much done, but most importantly
we grew the practitioner base of the sport in
the country to new heights.
If our sport grows its better for everyone!
Now on to the main point of this electronic
Did The IJF Make A Marketing
I asked the question. And I also thought
about it and the answer is…. I really don’t
know. However, in the true spirit of one
who reads Harvard Business Review, I had
to do a futuring exercise and look at both
the negative and positive effect of such a
sport with respect to the hottest sport in
the world right now… MMA.
I was having a conversation with one of my
friends and mentors and one of my Mastermind
partners, D’Arcy Rahming, who has helped me
greatly in my Coaching and Consulting business
and has shown me the “corporate ropes” if you
will that you don’t always get as entrepreneur.
The conversation that we had the other day
was enlightening and as I’m in the process
of re-releasing my much awaited and anticipated
package Judo Success Secrets – http://www.JudoSuccessSecrets.com
I thought about a phrase that he said.
He said, “Rhadi, people want YOUR stuff, but
they don’t want your sacrifice.”
And I sat their silently and thought about
what he said, I replied:
“Man, you are 100% Right. I’ve competed
all over the world, have won, lost, learned
and studied. I’ve gone to school to learn how
to take difficult concepts and subjects and
whittle them down to bite size portions that
the masses can understand, appeciate and use.
I’ve done my volunteer work, my “grunt” work,
the long hours and the sacrifice. I took a
country that nobody knew of and designed
curriculum, training practices, standards,
and an elite program and funnel for the program
and helped create the Bahamas’ first Olympian’
in the Sport of Judo. I’ve sacrificed and continue
to do so.”
How ‘Bout A Drink
I don’t drink but from what I can understand
from those that do is that they don’t like
cheap wine or cheap liquor.
AT ALL!!! LOL
I like staying in nice places when I travel
so you will be hard-pressed to find me booking
any hotel arrangements in a Motel 6 or a Motel 8.
I just don’t like ‘cheap’ stuff and let’s be honest….
YOU don’t either.
Who wants a cheap date?
….a cheap husband?
….a cheap car?
….a cheap relationships?
Because it ain’t worth sh*t!
I don’t mind something bein “inexpensive” but
I do NOT do “cheap.”
I can recall when I was competing for the Olympics
and was training and traveling during that four
year cycle, I DON’T RECALL NOT ONE TIME ever NOT
attending a training camp or a tournament because
the ticket was too expensive!
I’ve never heard Jimmy Pedro say, “Oh, I was going
to go train in Japan, but I decided not to go because
the tickets were too expensive.”
I’ve never heard, my Coach Eddie Liddie say, “Attend
the camp in Budapest, if you can afford it.”
The training schedule was written the the tournaments
and dates on it and you just got your ticket and made
I HAVE SLEPT OVER NIGHT IN EUROPE ON THE FLOOR IN A
TRAIN STATION, I have slept outside of a train station
on the street on top of my luggage.
In 2003 I traveled with no LUGGAGE because it was
lost and have washed my underwear, shorts and shirt
out in the sink EVERY NIGHT for 4 days and slept
in the bed naked in a room with no air conditioning
and have had the mosquitoes tear my ass up while
trying to find partial cover from the beast with a
I’ve been to hospitals in Europe with no insurance
and have had to pay cash for injuries sustained at
training camp and then had to continue the trip
and continue traveling with my luggage with fractured
wrist. MOving my luggage through the city and the
airports one at a time and then walking to get the
other piece and then walking to get the other one
and then walking to get the other one like I was
playing checkers with my luggage. IT WAS MISERABLE.
The things that I have learned in sport and from
my Olympic experience have been outstanding. I’ve
gone to the Olympics and have coached Olympians
and I can tell you right now that there is much
to be gained and learned from the process.
If you are willing to REFUSE to be cheap.
If you are a cheap person or the person always
waiting and looking for the deal, well, I can
tell you this…. my product Judo Success Secrets
IS NOT FOR YOU.
Before I sell the first package I can assure you
that the price will be $497 and will increase
steeply after that.
The Release Date
I don’t have a release date yet and that is because
I’m doing something pretty damn stupid but what can
I say… I’m a teacher at heart.
I’m about 90% done with a revamped version of my
Seminar – “The Anatomy Of A Judo Match” which I’ve
presented on several occassions and have been flown
in to teach and have had people fly to me to learn.
This presentation is one that I get paid $3,000.00
to do and it is usually done in about 3 to 4 hours.
I’m condensing it and adding to it so I can get it
done in 90 minutes and I’m going to do a TeleClinic/Webinar
for 100% Absolutely free in celebration for the
re-release of Judo Success Secrets.
It’s gonna be Bananas!!!
Here’s a small teaser here:
Enjoy The Video
Enjoy the video and leave a comment or two if you’d like.
I’m still rockin’ and reelin’ from 2 non-stop days
of working in DC with a fitness client.
I got off the plane, went straight to the
fitness facility, worked all day, had two dinner
meetings, then debriefed until 2am and then was up
at 4:30am to do a shadow boxing workout, 6am Bootcamp
and then showered and worked until it was time to
hop on the plane.
Non-stop schedule. I need a vacation! LOL!
Take care and have a super, fantastic day.

The #1 Personal Productivity
Push-n-Play Product On The
So there I was at the dinner table
last night and my son was sitting
there along with the family….
and he has eaten the meat, and has
guzzled down the macaroni and cheese
and now he is at his least favorite
part of the meal…..
On deck tonight…. French Cut Green Beans.
I can see the B.S. starting already.
He’s playing with the food.
Moving it around the plate.
He’s playing the “I’ll wait it out game.”
But this evening, I’m very tired from
MMA practice, I’m a little irritable and
I really don’t feel like playing and I
say, “Rufus, you are gonna make me do
something that I don’t want to do son.
Please eat those vegetables.”
He replies, “Daddy I don’t want to eat that!”
My wife looked up and peeped over her glasses.
My mother-in-law got quiet.
And my daughter, knowing that the silence meant
something bad was getting ready to go down, said,
I said, “Excuse me. What did you say?”
Rufus said, “I said, I don’t wanna eat that.”
And I told him no problem. You may be excused.
He smiled. The evening went as usual.
When it was his bedtime, he went to sleep and
then he got up in the morning and asked for
I heated up his green beans.
He ate them!
What’s The Meaning
Of This Story
Well, I’ve found out through sports and in parenting
and in life that sometimes yelling and screaming
just is not as important as being consistent.
You must be consitent, persistent and resistant to what
people think you SHOULD do.
You see, I KNOW that the vegetables are good for Rufus.
But HE doesn’t know that. He doesn’t believe that he
needs them. He thinks that they don’t taste good or
that they are “yucky.” He doesn’t understand that
they are a quality source of nutrition.
Case in point.
There are many of you that do sports and want to get
better. When I make a recommendation to you, some of
you resist, but I persist because I know what will help
** If you do Mixed Martial Arts I tell you without fail, that being
in some phenomenal shape will most certainly help you. Your veggies
are conditioning and skill ==> http://www.TheTotalBodyWorkout.com
** If you are in business, I tell you without fail, that you NEED
quality coaching from a good business instructor and coach.
Your veggies are with ME! ==> http://www.rhadiferguson.com/blog/fieldtrip/ (I’m not sure when I’m
doing this again but it will be soon).
Whatever the case, you MUST EAT YOUR VEGGIES!
Don’t get upset when I’m trying to feed you.
I want you to be strong!!!
Have a super-fantastic day!

The first one is a webinar and the second
one is a teleseminar. Both Tele-Clinics are
100% Phree. There is no charge for them and
there is ABSOLUTELY NO SALES PITCH AT ALL!!!
It is my desire to educate and teach.
Now Here’s What Is
In the next couple of weeks, I am getting
ready to release a product that I snatched
off the shelves a couple years ago.
I had to revamp it and remix it.
The product is Judo Success Secrets.
In celebration of the re-release of Judo
Success Secrets I am going to hold another
PHREE webinar on a clinic that I have done
on several occassions and have charged $197.00
per person for.
That tele-clinic is, “The Anatomy Of A Judo Match”
I will be doing this FOR PHREE in celebration
of the upcoming release of Judo Success Secrets.
On that webinar I will let you know how you can
get “in” and get Judo Success Secrets.
I will pre-warn you now…. “The Anatomy Of A Judo
Match” is Phree, but it is not for the CASUAL Judo
Coach, Judo Player or Judo Parent.
Only the SERIOUS people need attend. Otherwise you
will find yourself confuse, frustrated and worse off
than when you started. The seminar will be of no charge
but will require a 120 minute commitment and then
there will be some homework for you to do on your own.
**This will be judo online education at its best**
