Jimmy Pedro Versus Rhadi Ferguson In Newaza

Auto Date Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

==============
Introduction
==============

For those of you who have never seen Jimmy or I roll together, this is Jimmy and I on the mat warming up.

Now the headline was just to get your attention. Jimmy and I are NOT competing here. We were simply warming up to get ready for the video shoots and to ask each other some questions about certain movement patterns.

One thing that you will see is that Jimmy is a guard passing MONSTER. He doesn’t stop.

    Boring boring… When are you guys going to address the inappropriate shinto religous customs and the japanese language confusion. usa 12th in the world, sometimes dont even place in the olympics…
    Nero fiddled while Rome burned! Plus you arent even up on your toes in ground work isnt that adding an extra movement, having to brace your toes.
    The bowing and stuff keeps you looking backwards to classical judo instead of a evolving modern approach! aka
    John Holm and Geoff Gleeson..

    Rhadi ask Jimmy if he remembers Miquel Tudella, who speaks very highly of Jimmy .

    Nice video Rhadi. Though, you may want to have these comments approved before you post them because a lot of people will be overly critical and forget the fact that you guys are just warming up.

    I know that the title was just to get our attention but why don’t you really do a real Newaza contest between Jimmy Pedro and Rhadi Ferguson? I would pay to see that. Make it even more interesting and both of you put your own money up and winner take all. That video would get some Youtube views and would probably sell some courses. Yes, I know you guys are retired and do not have the time to train 6 hours a day like when you did high level competition. But that is how us lowly amateurs have to roll all the time. Full day at work then on the mat. My back hurts right now. In any case it is a pleasure to see such high level players roll. Especially with Rhadi you can see the fusion of the Judo style Newaza and BJJ. Very nice. I am sure your course will be excellent.
