A lot of people have been talking abou the new rule
change in Judo and that Morote Gari will no longer

I must admit.

I’ve been all over the landscape of the information superhighway
also known as the internet and I have seen some pretty bad
and really lame information out there on Morote Gari.

I also watched one dude on a website show how to defend
Morote Gari and it looked right but was SOOOOO very wrong that I just felt bad for those who watched it and thought that it would actually work.

I mean, his defense could work, but not against anyone who
invested in my DVD.  But that’s another story for another time.

My point is….. No one out there really seems to know the
secret behind who Morote Gari works and how it is supposed
to work.

Many people think that it is just like a wrestling double leg take down and I ASSURE YOU that it is not!!

Morote Gari is a double leg take down in the textbook sense
but it is not the same double leg that it perform in wrestling.

It is very different.

Very!
