Judo Canada Is On A Roll: 6 Medals At Two World Cup Events After Olympics
For those of us who follow Olympic Sports and who know about the Olympics, we know that the day to start training for the next Olympic Games is the day right after your event has concluded at the Olympic Games.
Many athletes succumb to Post-Olympic Depression (see articles to the right in the ezinearticle widget) and many athletes deal with this emotional downslope by throwing themselves right back into the competitive fire.
Well that’s what Alexandre Edmond, Michael Popiel and Brazilian Jiujitsu player Scott Edwards did. They immediately jumped back into the fire and earned some medals at World Cup Events. Edmond was fortunate enough to qualify for the the World Championships in 2009 in the Netherlands.
Go CANADA!!!
